I co-directed this film with my good friend Gábor Reisz. We were asked to shoot a concert video for the band Mordái after their live show was cancelled due to Covid. Since we were bored by the idea of simply filming them play, we decided to add narrative elements—a film-noir-inspired story—while still keeping the performances live and shot in a single take. The abandoned Gellért Hotel, was just as eerie as in the film.
